baseball memorabilia, pro sports memorabiliaLast night I caught a recap of the LA Dodgers vs. Arizona D-Backs and for those who missed it, LA won 7-2 but the best part was seeing Manny Ramirez ejected from the game for spitting some choice words at the home plate ump. After striking out from pitches he didn’t feel were strikes, Manny threw off his helmet and got pissed. Fans were waving Dodger baseball memorabilia as the ump threw a “You’re Outa Here” to a heated Ramirez who hit a solo homerun at bat before. He was ejected in the third but the Dodgers got the job done without him just fine. I couldn’t find a video of the ejection online but I’m sure you will see it on a sports recap show.

Baseball has more heated moments between players and officials then any other American sport. There must be something about the crowd waving baseball memorabilia, passionate players and umps who take no gruff from anyone that keep a steady highlight reel of baseball players and coaches being thrown from the game. I don’t think Manny is going to sell any less memorabilia collectables because of the outburst. The fans in LA are on his side all the way seen by proudly waved Manny pro sports memorabilia.
